We are celebrating Maths week - albeit slightly hampered by the recent storm. Each day this week, a number of maths problems are posed and students across the school are encouraged to work collaboratively to solve them. For example, yesterday the boys and girls had to find out how many minutes we have been in school so far this academic year. It took lots of discussion and plenty of mathematical reasoning to arrive at the answer. Thankfully, our boys and girls are not fainthearted and worked hard to solve this conundrum.
