Parents

Parents

Our dedicated parents help to shape the life of the school.  This page provides a flavour of the activities that are supported by our parents.

Purchasing resources
Recently we have invested in new IPads and Lego.  These resources will help to further our efforts in promoting STEM education and we are grateful to the parents for their support.

Cake sales
The annual cake sale is organised and run by our parents.  Children and parents donate cakes to the school and these are sold over one day in our Atrium.  The collected funds support many different projects in our school.

Food Dudes
We were delighted to introduce the Food Dudes programme in 2013.  The initiative aims to encourage children to eat more fruits and vegetables.  Through a structured programme, they were introduced to different types of healthy snacks and they learned all about the impact of good food on health and well being.  The parents committee was an integral part of the success of the programme.  It has had a very positive impact on our school.

Book Fair
Our annual book fair is organised by our parents.  Books for all ages and covering all genres are delivered to the Atrium and the children are given the opportunity to purchase books at a greatly reduced rate.

Supporting our celebrations
Each year the children who receive the sacraments are treated to a wonderful display in the Atrium.  Our parents are responsible for coordinating the event.  It provides children and parents with an opportunity to celebrate an important day in their lives.
