Horticultural students from I.T. Blanchardstown will be coming to the school in late January to engage in a community-based gardening project.
This is a collaborative project between our school and I.T.B and is a great opportunity for our school community to benefit from the students’ sharing of knowledge and skills.
In order for the project to go ahead, we are looking for a minimum of 5 parents who would be willing to work alongside the students in the creation of the project.
Please note that parents involved do not need to have any gardening expertise – all we ask for is your commitment and enthusiasm! Volunteers must be available to participate one morning per week (4 hours) for the 13 week duration of the project. All of the work will take place on the school grounds.
If this is something you would like to get involved in, please contact Ms. Lucey or send a note in via your child. We look forward to hearing from you!!!
