SCHOOL UNIFORM POLICY

Junior and Senior Infant pupils wear the school PE uniform every day.
 
1st – 6th class pupils wear the formal school uniform in full every day, except on PE days when they wear the school PE uniform.
 
If for some reason the full school uniform is not being worn by a pupil on any particular day, an explanatory note from home must be provided to the class teacher.
 
Pupils in our Coiscéim autism classes may wear either the formal uniform or PE uniform. If extra consideration is needed with regard to uniform for a child in one of our Coiscéim classes, please contact the class teacher.
 
Flat black shoes must be worn with the formal uniform. Runners are only to be worn with the PE uniform.
 
The formal school uniform for boys consists of:
  •      Black shoes
  •      Grey trousers
  •      Wine jumper with school crest
  •      Cream shirt
  •      School tie

The formal school uniform for girls consists of:
  •      Flat black shoes or boots
  •      Wine pinafore or wine skirt or grey trousers
  •      Cream or wine socks or cream or wine tights
  •      Wine jumper or wine cardigan with school crest
  •      Cream shirt
  •      School tie
 
The school PE uniform consists of:
  •     Runners
  •     School tracksuit or a tracksuit consisting of plain navy cotton bottoms and plain navy cotton top
  •     White polo shirt
 
In warm weather during the months of August, September, May and June the children have the option of wearing the school’s “summer uniform”. This consists of:
  •      School tracksuit top or plain navy cotton tracksuit top
  •      White polo shirt
  •      Plain navy cotton tracksuit shorts
