The school will close next week (16 - 20 February) for midterm break. All children return to school on Monday 23 February. Enjoy the break everyone.
Well done to Mr. Shelly's sixth class. They created these fantastic volcaones as part of their Geography and Science class. They presented the exploding volcaones to children and teachers in the school.
There are more images available on the gallery page. Click here to go directly to the gallery. Some of our fifth and sixth class children took part in the Credit Union school's quiz last night. Well done to all involved and thank you to Ms Connell for preparing the teams.
February, the beginning of Spring, and while it is still very cold outside we are happy to sustain certain traditions here in Huntstown. These beautiful St Brigid crosses were made by children from fifth class. Children from third and fourth class also made crosses. St Brigid is a much loved saint in Ireland. The children in first class have been learning all about how she established her first church in Kildare.
