The Minister for Education and Skills has instructed all schools to remain closed tomorrow Thursday 1 March and Friday 2 March. This is a direct response to the severity of the weather conditions. We will update parents and staff on Sunday evening / Monday morning. Take care everyone.
Owing to the extreme weather and dangerous road conditions, our school will be closed today Wednesday 28 February. A Status Red Weather Warning has been issued for Dublin and an assessment of the school carried out early this morning, suggests that it would be too dangerous for the school to open. We advise all parents, children and staff to remain at home today. The website and twitter feed should be consulted regularly for updates.
We are considering the importance of being 'Internet Safe' this week as part of Safer Internet Day. All parents received a copy of the safer internet guidelines and have been directed to the website http://www.saferinternetday.ie/. It is really important that we all consider our behaviour online so that we can stay safe.
