We have added another Spring Project template below. Earlier today, we tweeted access to a whole range of books and digital resources, now available online through 'World Book Online'. In order to access the materials, visit www.scoilnet.ie and click on the 'Primary' section. Scroll to the very bottom of the page where you will find the link to 'World Book Online'. There you will discover a whole world of learning and it might inform how you approach the project below. We would love to hear from you over the coming days. Enjoy.
Here is the first of our Spring Projects. We would love to see what you can explore at home. Open the suggested menu first and choose your topic. You can download the file and type directly into it or perhaps you would like to make a digital presentation or a powerpoint. Whatever you choose, feel free to email it to us: [email protected]
The MOLI museum has organised a wonderful 'Creative Sparks' initiative. It encourages students who are at home to join in and enjoy some word games and creative activities through text. There are live activities each day at 1pm hosted by the children's author Sarah Webb. If you would like to join in, click on the link below.
https://moli.ie/category/bright-sparks-creative-bursts/ The wonderful author and illustrator Oliver Jeffers, has kindly decided to read one of his books every day while students are home from school. If you click on the link below, it will bring you directly to his website where, with the guidance of a responsible adult, you can access his instagram page and the live reading of his books. Today, Mr Jeffers will read 'Lost and Found'. He begins reading at 6pm GMT. Why not enjoy his incredible talents and listen to the author himself.
https://www.oliverjeffers.com/ Enjoy. Please find below, an outline of work that your child can complete while they are learning at home over the coming weeks. The content outlined in each document supports the work that children are completing at school and can be approached with some guidance and encouragement from an adult. There is plenty of independent work listed, that each child can attend to with relative ease. It is important to encourage consistency and regularity so children should try to make an effort to attend to the suggestions below. Please note, senior infants have received hard copies of all work to be completed.
