The joy of these awards came from the involvement of all boys and girls from across the school. The Junior Infants welcomed Gardaí and Fire Fighters to the school and learned about their work. The third and fourth classes made detailed records of the prevailing weather conditions in Huntstown and looked closely for signs of Spring. The Senior classes conducted a number of experiments which explored topics such as living things, energy and forces and materials. We were hugely impressed by the quality of the work produced and clearly so were the judges. The school received its award in late June. Congratulations to all involved.
